What we provide
I have a passion for horsemanship and growing as a rider, I remember what it was like as a young kid who would do anything to get on the back of a horse, and with my dogs I know how hard it is to find good quality herding options in the upper Midwest. So I choose to open our arena to riders and dog owners who are looking at trying something new, expand their skills and gain confidence in all aspects of these hobbies.
Private Riding lessons
We have 3 well broke experienced lesson horses for Beginner-Intermediate riders, 1 pony for the littles who may be intimidated by a full size horse. I also have more advanced mounts for a rider who needs more of a challenge and gain their technical riding skills.
Western or English we start from the ground up, safety, grooming, saddling etc... is covered during each 1hr lesson.

Lessons are held May-October in our outdoor arena, we are in the works to add outdoor lights and saving up and fundraising for an indoor arena in the future as well!

Herding Lessons
I work closely with my mentor Kent Herbel at XP Ranch in Oklahoma, attending numerous of their clinics around the country. The training style I have learned from them creates a quiet working dog that can read stock and be held accountable for themselves during everyday tasks and in the trial arena.
I am comfortable working with Border collies, Aussies, Shetland sheepdogs and Australian Cattle dogs. Reach out with any questions you may have via email. Lessons are 30min long broken up into 10min segments and may be "group style" with a few other handlers around at a time.
Arena and Stock Rental
We have a 90x150 outdoor arena with good sand footing, haul ins are available 7days a week during daylight hours at $15 per person. Barrels, ground poles and cones are currently available adding poles and jump sets in 2023.
Stock rental is offered for experienced handlers needing new spaces and stock to work, we currently only offer sheep but do plan on adding more ducks and eventually cattle. There are 6 different size pastures/arenas available with panels and courses set up.
Fees are $30 per every half hour.
Current Coggins for horses is required and all dogs coming onto the property must show proof of current Rabies and Distemper vaccines
