What we're all about...
Our farm has been an ever evolving growth of my love for Animals and the Ag. and Equine world. Starting from a young age in 4H then training and showing horses since the age of 15 back in 2004. Over the course of the last 19years I have started dozens of young horses, worked out East with Thoroughbreds on Monmouth Racetrack, Asst. Trainer with AQHA/PHBA barn in south Central Virginia, and Managing a successful training & lesson program +19stall boarding barn here in Minnesota. Taking a few years off to raise young kids, I am now ready to get back in the thick of what I love and sharing that with my 2 girls who both ride and compete locally, they also show their dogs in AKC as well as other livestock in 4H.
Wyanett Creek is the township our Family farm is situated on in Isanti county Minnesota, the creek runs through the almost 300acres of land the Cartwright Family has called home for almost a Century. In the last decade we've brought the farm back to life by bringing the horses home and adding various species of livestock to the daily tasks of raising animals.
We have always been a dog family and never go without them, in recent years life has allowed me to follow my passion of pursuing working border collies and in depth training opportunities. It has quickly evolved into a main staple at the farm hosting clinics, private lessons, border collie breeding program and growing our flock of Registered and Commercial Katahdin hair sheep.
